The Denizen is a boutique, luxury one bedroom cabin nestled among the pines of Broken Bow, OK. The cabin is open to guests, as a short term rental.

Designed as a forest retreat, the space was designed to awaken one’s inner curiosity and creativity, and facilitate moments of deep serenity. The Denizen is marked by its striking black exterior with a myriad of windows, allowing the surrounding landscape to be appreciated from unique angles and perspectives. The space was thoughtfully designed and carefully curated, bringing together a global design aesthetic inspired by the collected, personal visions of Chelsea’s travels.

Handmade pottery from Mexico, art from Copenhagen, rugs from Morocco, and antiques collected from markets in Rome and Paris, bring depth and soul to the objects found. Rich textures, natural materials, and earthy tones are visible throughout, for a space that feels organic, relaxed, and deeply familiar.

Chelsea designed The Denizen from the very beginning – collaborating with Osburn Cabins on the interior architecture and design, material selections, lighting fixtures, decor, and styling.
